# [Gauntlet] - AVAIL Recommendations

# Summary

**Gauntlet does NOT currently support the onboarding of AVAIL as collateral in Moonwell’s Core lending markets on Base.** This decision is based on a comprehensive evaluation of key risk factors, including liquidity, market depth and volatility.

A detailed risk assessment suggests that AVAIL’s current market conditions may not provide the necessary liquidity and stability to ensure a secure and efficient integration as collateral. Additionally, considerations such as borrow demand, historical price resilience, and the potential impact on protocol risk parameters further reinforce this recommendation.
