## Boardroom Delegation Boardroom was recently awarded with a loan delegation grant from the Moonwell Foundation. 3.4M WELL tokens will be **solely** used to delegate to a handful of high-impact delegates. A delegation from Boardroom is contingent on staying active in governance and completing your role’s minimums requirements each month. It’s meant to be an incentive; in the same way that we can delegate to someone, we can also un-delegate. The goal of this initiative is to find multiple high-impact delegates who are essentially specialists, each covering different aspects of Moonwell governance. Currently, there are **three** open slots for Super Delegates — Coolhorsegirl maintains her previously-held position. The first delegation on our behalf was 1M WELL to PGov, making them Moonwell’s second Super Delegate. The team has been working hard in the forums since they first applied for the Delegate Rush program, posting their rationale for every vote, and they’ve submitted a successful proposal in the past. ## Super Delegate Specialties Below are the five Specialties that we have identified with Moonwell contributors as the most important areas of expertise that Super Delegates should specialize in. Delegation on our behalf will, in part, depend on the Delegate’s ability to provide expertise in one of these areas. ### 1. Asset Listing - Message proposal authors and help them to initially structure their forum post, making sure it follows the [MALF](https://forum.moonwell.fi/t/moonwell-asset-listing-framework-v2/724). - The MALF could be refined or optimized. Create a Snapshot proposal to ratify a MALF v3.0. - Comment on new asset listing proposals with an evaluation based on the MALF ([example](https://forum.moonwell.fi/t/add-cusdo-market-to-moonwell-on-base/1740/3)). - Create new Core Market proposals for other protocols or teams if they request it, including the forum post, Snapshot, and onchain proposals. - If a new post does not follow the MALF, notify the community and other delegates. ### 2. Data & Analytics - Provide quantitative metrics surrounding onchain data related to Moonwell. - Provide governance data or quantitative dashboards. - Provide reporting on other programs or initiatives that involve Moonwell. ### 3. Security Council - Help organize and attend regular Security Council meetings. - Post meeting notes in the forums and educate the community on what the council does and its current activities. ### 4. Third-Party Opportunities & Research - Scout other governance forums and ecosystems for grant opportunities, focusing on Moonwell-aligned initiatives (e.g. growth across the Superchain). - Look for non-grant related opportunities which could be beneficial to the Moonwell community. - Produce research in the forums on interesting things that are being done by other DeFi teams that the Moonwell community could consider. For example, Paradigm has published multiple articles ([here](https://www.paradigm.xyz/2024/02/leaderless-auctions) and [here](https://www.paradigm.xyz/2025/05/timing-advantages-in-onchain-auctions)) on onchain auctions. Ideas like these could be used to benefit Moonwell users, as was the case in the [brainstorming post](https://forum.moonwell.fi/t/increasing-governance-participation-and-rewarding-voters-part-2/1525) from Luke outlining excess reserve auctions. - Look for governance-related opportunities or improvements that are being employed by other DAOs and present the idea to the Moonwell community. ### 5. Forum - Be an exemplary representative of the Moonwell community in the forums. Create well thought-out replies to other community members and surface new ideas for the community to discuss. - Help inform new Moonwell community members of governance processes and systems (e.g. [MALF](https://forum.moonwell.fi/t/moonwell-asset-listing-framework-v2/724) for new asset listing discussions). - Summarize technical proposals (e.g. Anthias’ Monthly Recommendations) with a single-paragraph comment ([example](https://forum.moonwell.fi/t/gauntlet-base-optimism-moonbeam-moonriver-monthly-recommendations-2024-12-13/1458/2)) to help boost non-technical community members’ comprehension of market health. There is no application required for this initiative. If you’re involved in Moonwell governance, you meet the requirements listed in the forums, and you demonstrate a capacity to fulfill one of these specialities, you will be considered to receive a delegation. We will use this forum thread to be transparent with who we’re delegating to and whether any changes are made. Fechuky, an active delegate and long-time Moonwell community member who already has over 1M WELL delegated to him, has expressed interest in becoming a Super Delegate.
