# \[Gauntlet\] - Cap Recommendations (2024-10-18)

Given market demand, Gauntlet would like to make additional cap recommendations for the below assets:

| Asset | Chain | Current Supply Cap | Recommended Supply Cap | Current Borrow Cap | Recommended Borrow Cap |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| DAI | Optimism | 2,400,000 | 4,800,000 | 2,000,000 | 4,500,000 |
| wstETH | Optimism | 1,500 | 2,500 | 750 | No Change |

Gauntlet will be utilizing the Cap Guardian to enact this change as voted by the community within this forum [post](https://forum.moonwell.fi/t/gauntlets-initial-recommendations-for-moonwell-on-base/536) and [proposal](https://gov.moonwell.fi/artemis/proposal/39).
