It also sought to update the pause Guardian on Base to the new security council multisig to match mainnet Ethereum. It did not pass its voting period. ## Contributor Updates **Forum post** : [Post Mortem: MAMO Market Incident on Base](https://forum.moonwell.fi/t/post-mortem-mamo-market-incident-on-base/2208) **Author** : [Anthias](https://forum.moonwell.fi/u/anthiaslabs/summary) **Summary** : Following the August 27th exploit of the MAMO Core Market on Base, Anthias published a full onchain post-mortem of the attack. It includes an outline of the attacker’s methods, the exact amount of assets used, and remaining debt. The underlying evidence has been preserved so recovery and remediation updates can be added without altering the confirmed record. ## Upcoming Events in Governance ### Monthly Governance Call August’s Governance Call has been postponed.
